The book Defiance is an extension of the plot in the crime fiction book, The Zone.  Taking this original action-packed story and the quest for justice and shaking the roller-coaster even further.

“That is cutting it fine, there is only a few seconds to game time, you know,” Eve said.

They were watching the screen when they saw movements, just a brief, fleeting movement and then nothing as the assault team members moved over the rail and into the shadows.  Then they could see the men coming over the top of the superstructure, just a glimpse and then back into the shadows.  There were a few men on top of the bridge structure.  There was just a glimpse, then they too disappeared into the shadows.  Jason looked at this with awe.  “Oh my God.  They are good and there can be no noise because no one is being alerted.”  Jason said to Eve.

“Yes Jason, you are right, one will never hear them coming ’till it’s too late.” Eve said.
